well I still have to learn them and learn to trust them. The Pro1 never fails me, and I can trust the images that I get from it. As you may remember I have two Pro1's and I will always keep them. I really don't believe the images are superior to the Pro1 though, but they are pretty darn good. I particularly like the IS and the face recognition and the automatic red-eye removal. The G9 is a very small, cool and feature rich camera. In the meantime I'll keep on enjoying yours. One of these days I'll correct that little problem, so stay tuned. I'm ashamed to say that I let my subscription to my photo site expire when we moved and haven't gotten a new one set up yet, so can't yet post pictures again. Wish they lived closer even.Īs far as pictures. Wish I still had some lovely kids like yours to take pictures of, but mine are all adults now with families of their own. So I have been really enjoying playing with the new cameras. I just got a new G9, and the week before that I got a new 40D also. Yes, maybe snow showers tonight into the morning. Very nice, I can't wait to get my hands on one of those new Sigma fiftys, LoL! Yup and here is one of the kids enjoying dying eggs last night. This plant is pretty amazing.you can't kill it! I like this but the fact you had this twenty years, is even a better & lastly a HDR closeup image from the Pro1 of a twenty year oldĪfrican Violet that blooms every spring. Yeah, that's why i shoot in RAW & correct the WB later. Here's a quick Crocus shot I took with the 30D & 28-135IS.īeautiful of course and the purple I think are hard to get with the Yes absolutely and I am already tired on my second day on Spring When possible, we’ll even create a JPG preview so you know exactly which file you’re looking at.Great shots & the kids look happy to get a break, LoL! You can upload any file up to a max of 3 GB, and you can view and retrieve them from the familiar SmugMug gallery interface. PDFs, TIFFs, RAW, CR2, DOC whatever you’ve got and want to keep safe, keep it there. SmugVault, our archival service provided by Amazon, is for the kitchen sink. Just be sure that your videos are under 20 minutes long and 3 GB apiece. Check out the list here, which may not include everything but does come with bonus conversion info. There’s tons of codecs out there and we support a good number of them. If your tipple is video, you’ve got a lot more options. We don’t hear much about them these days, but who doesn’t love watching a good cinemagraph? We’re always thrilled to see what great ones you’re making. GIF files are commonly used for animations. We’re talking header logo images and watermark image files, to start. PNG files are recommended for images that contain transparent areas, like the site branding files that Power, Portfolio and Business users will use. The only file type our print labs will print from, and they’re ubiquitous, so it’s easy-peasy for your fans and clients to view them if you’re offering digital downloads. Which file you use depends on what you’re going to be doing: When it comes to photos, we accept JPG, PNG and GIF files up to 50 MB apiece. We’ve capped photo count to 5,000 per gallery because basic tools like sorting and keywording become impossibly difficult when you have that many photos in one place. They’ll also auto-adjust so that you see fewer gallery pages on big screens and more pages on smaller ones. Your galleries stretch with your screen and adjust to fit the largest images the gallery settings allow.
